Voice over Internet Protocol (sometimes called Broadband Phone, Voice over Broadband, Internet Telephony or Broadband Telephony) is the relatively new technology used to transmit voice data over the internet, usually broadband, or other IP-based network.

Voip-blog.net is a blog providing the latest VoIP news and articles. Although the site is relatively new, it already has articles explaining how VoIP technology works, its advantages and disadvantages, and some information about the major VoIP providers.

I knew a little about VoIP before coming across this blog. Even so I learned a few things I didn’t know about VoIP. For example, it is possible to send more than one call down a broadband connection yet there is some difficulty sending a fax via VoIP?! Maybe this blog will explain more in the future.

Another bonus is that the site uses a very nice template - which is not always the case with blogs covering technical subjects.
